Did you know that your favorite colors can tell someone a bit about who you are as a person? If you had to pick one color right now, what would it be? It’s understandable that you might have different color preferences for your shoes or clothes, but we’re not talking about that. We’re talking about: What color appeals the most to you? And, it is totally alright to feel a connection with multiple colors (1).
Of course, all this is just for some fun, and is not actual theoretical information, so don’t take this too seriously.
So, according to color psychology, your favorite color determines your personality color (1). How? It’s said that the colors represent our emotional, physical, and mental states, so perhaps the way we feel subconsciously makes us feel attracted to a certain color (1). Similarly, the colors you dislike also hints at your personality, particularly your weaknesses and vulnerabilities (1). Colors can also shape our perceptions, and give us insight into our work ethic and motivation levels (2).
Now, just because you like a certain color, it doesn’t mean all these traits will fit you, though it’s generally thought that a couple will align will you (1).
